“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.“

Viktor Frankl, Man’s Search for Meaning

About Me

I have over 20 years experience helping people find meaning and purpose in their lives. I am a certified Logotherapist, Life Coach, multidisciplinary and holistic wellness practitioner. My approach integrates evidence-based Logotherapy with a variety of therapeutic and coaching methods, including Psychoanalysis, CBT, Mindfulness, Hypnosis Therapy, Emotional Regulation Therapy, Executive Functioning and Neuroplasticity techniques. This blend allows me to tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs and life circumstances.

My own life experiences have shown me that while suffering can feel overwhelming, it can also become a doorway to growth, resilience, and transformation. I believe that every person has an innate capacity to find meaning, even in the most difficult and painful situations and that no one should have to face their struggles alone.

Through our work together, you will learn to transform suffering into growth, connect with your authentic values, and create a life that truly reflects who you are. I offer a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where healing and growth can unfold, and where your story is always honored and respected.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals, couples, teens, and families. My experience covers a wide range of challenges, including:

  • Anxiety, depression, stress, and fear management

  • Trauma, PTSD, CPTSD, and crisis support

  • Suicidal ideation, self-harm, and emotional regulation

  • Autism, ADHD, and special needs support

  • Parenting challenges and family dynamics

  • Life transitions, career, and personal growth

  • Eating disorders, addiction, and recovery

  • Sleep difficulties and dream interpretation

  • Chronic illness, pain, and disability management

  • Identity, self-esteem, and LGBTQ+ support

  • Intergenerational trauma and families of Holocaust survivors

My approach is never “one-size-fits-all.” Every person’s story is unique, and so is the path forward. Together, we will discover and create tools that fit your life — at your pace — with your goals at the center. I combine professional expertise with lived experience, which allows me to connect with clients in a way that is both compassionate and practical.

Outside of my professional work, I am a mother, artist and a lifelong learner who believes in the healing power of humour, nature, and creativity.

I offer individual and couple therapy, as well as workshops, tailored to groups and organizations, in areas such as communication, resilience, mindfulness, and stress management.

Sessions and workshops are available in English or Hebrew, via Zoom.

If you’re considering therapy, coaching, or a workshop, I’d be happy to speak with you and see how I can support you. You don’t have to walk this path alone.

”My journey with Aviva began as a client searching for direction and meaning. Through her thoughtful, compassionate approach and the depth of logotherapy, I not only found clarity but also felt inspired to study the method myself. As a teacher, she brings a rare combination of deep knowledge, extensive experience, and a life journey that enriches everything she shares. Aviva's understanding isn’t just academic, it’s lived and felt. She teaches with humility, generosity, and a commitment to helping others grow. The tools and insights I’ve gained continue to guide me, both personally and professionally. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to learn from her”. Sharon

“I have known Aviva for a while now and I have experienced her incredible passion and knowledge in Logotherapy based counselling and coaching on many occasions. Her willingness and desire to help others is truly inspiring and contagious. I would recommend her to anybody and I'm grateful to know her”. Anna.

“Aviva Gros-Margalit has completed the Advanced training of the Viktor Frankl Institute of logotherapy in Israel, and is currently a candidate for the highest, Diplomate level. In my experience as her supervisor and teacher, I have witnessed her skillful ability to challenge her clients to rethink their assumptions, but never at the expense of genuine caring and empathy. She understands what keeps people stuck and how to get them through their challenges”. Batya Yaniger, Director, VFIL in Israel.

“To be sure, man's search for meaning may arouse inner tension rather than inner equilibrium. However, precisely such tension is an indispensable prerequisite of mental health. There is nothing in the world, I venture to say, that would so effectively help one to survive even the worst conditions as the knowledge that there is a meaning in one's life. There is much wisdom in the words of Nietzsche: "He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how”

Viktor E. Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning

“Love goes very far beyond the physical person of the beloved. It finds its deepest meaning in his spiritual being, his inner self. Whether or not he is actually present, whether or not he is still alive at all, ceases somehow to be of importance.

Viktor E. Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning

“As each situation in life represents a challenge to man and presents a problem for him to solve, the question of the meaning of life may actually be reversed. Ultimately, man should not ask what the meaning of his life is, but rather he must recognize that it is he who is asked. In a word, each man is questioned by life; and he can only answer to life by answering for his own life; to life he can only respond by being responsible. Thus, logotherapy sees in responsibleness the very essence of human existence.”

“Everyone has his own specific vocation or mission in life; everyone must carry out a concrete assignment that demands fulfillment. Therein he cannot be replaced, nor can his life be repeated. Thus, everyone's task is unique as is his specific opportunity to implement it.”
